Prof. Artur Gruszczak – Professor of Social Sciences, Head of the Department of National Security, Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Expert of the Centre international de formation européenne in Nice. He was an Associate Fellow at the European Centre Natolin in Warsaw (2004-2015), co-ordinator of the Forum “EU Justice and Home Affairs”.
Prof. Gruszczak was visiting fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna, visiting professor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota, Universidad Católica de São Paulo, Complutense University of Madrid, University of Rochester, NY.
Prof. Gruszczak held NATO Research Fellowship for the Study of Democratic Institutions and was awarded research grants from Open Society Institute, Jean Monnet Project for Poland and the Polish National Science Centre. He provided expertise in security, migration and intelligence matters for the Polish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Ministry for Internal Affairs, the Office of the Polish Prime Minister, the European Parliament and independent analytical institutions, such as Statewatch in London, Oxford Analytica and GLOBSEC in Bratislava.
